How the Elite Celebrate


On Easter Sunday, the elite and not-so-elite go out wearing their big fancy hats and promenade in front of St. Patrick's Cathedral on Fifth Avenue in New York City.  One cannot but enjoy the sea of colorful and creative hats and attires.

Filipino Sugar Cane Farmers


These are photographs of laborers in the sugar cane fields of Negros Occidental in the Philippines.  These farmers are paid $1 a day, not enough to feed them and their families.  So they eat just once a day.
